About Bazario

Bazario.ch is a community marketplace for used items — built for Switzerland. Sell what you no longer need, find great deals nearby, and keep things in circulation instead of throwing them away.

What Bazario is

Bazario combines simple listings with auction-style selling and “make an offer”. You can list an item quickly, choose the selling mode that fits, and chat with interested buyers in a clear, structured way.

How selling works

  • Fixed price — set a price and sell directly.
  • Auction — let the market decide until end time.
  • Make an offer — buyers propose, you decide.
  • Public Q&A — before auction ends, questions and answers are visible for fairness.

Bazario is designed to stay lightweight: clear title, honest condition, fair media, and fast communication.

Auction timing window: to avoid late-night endings and make participation fairer, auction end times are normalized to business hours (currently around 07:00–23:00, local server time). Extremely late end times are moved to the next morning.

Fees and philosophy

Bazario is community-first. There is no mandatory selling fee. If you want to support the platform, you can contribute voluntarily.

Promotions and credits

Optional visibility boosts can use Bazario credits. Profile verification costs CHF 20; after admin approval, CHF 20 is added to your Bazario balance as credit.

Safety and trust

Bazario is built to reduce common marketplace problems with transparent listing details, clear communication, and user reputation.

Tip: If a deal feels rushed, inconsistent, or “too good to be true”, pause and double-check.

Quick manual (how to use Bazario)

  1. Create account first
Register and complete your basic profile so buyers/sellers can trust who they deal with.
  2. Lazy Auction (fastest listing)
Upload photo/video, select category and publish. No need to add anything else. You can still add price, answer questions, and later convert to normal auction any time.
  3. Use Q&A before end
Interested users ask publicly, seller answers publicly. This keeps the same info visible to everyone while the auction is live.
  4. After auction end: private deal chat
Once auction/deal is completed, communication becomes private between buyer and seller. It also serves as a practical memo of what was agreed.
  5. Edit window for messages
Sent messages can be edited shortly after posting (about 10 minutes), useful for quick corrections.
  6. Rate each other after completion
Reputation is simple (3-slot stars) and based on transaction quality and communication.

Why we built it

Switzerland already has marketplaces, but many feel fee-heavy or outdated. Bazario focuses on cleaner UX, flexible selling modes, and transparent communication.

Thanks for being part of it — every fair listing helps build a better marketplace.
